"What if NO ONE comes?" I asked my husband one day back in late 1995. I had just placed a counter on the new Peggie's Place web site, and now would watch to see what would happen. Would it be lost in the shuffle of a million other Web sites? What would happen with this remarkable project started by a midlife mama, who a few short years ago did not even know how to turn on a computer?

But God, who has a wonderful sense of humor, had plans--and DID He ever have plans! I could not have imagined it in a million years - and now 10 million page views later, I sit in overwhelming wonder at what the Lord has done. One hundred and seventy countries/territories/islands of the sea have visited Peggie's Place--scores of people I will never meet personally have been blessed and touched--and you may be one of them!

So come on--rejoice with me! It's time to reflect on God's goodness and have a little fun too. You REALLY are "one in a million"--to me and to the Lord too! Put on the party hats, blow up the balloons, send for the best cater on the Web--it's party time at The Well! We have an honored Guest waiting for us all. He loves celebrations--remember He attended a wedding one? Well, this is a WEB one--and He is our most welcome, honored guest. Let the celebration begin!

A Helping Word...or Two!

Blessings--Celebrating God's Goodness at Peggie's Place and yours...!

Peggie's Place has been blessed. Visited by 170 countries of the world, accessed by thousands of people I will never meet, its pages have touched, blessed and brought back to the Lord scores of people I do not know. God's love has reached out in so many ways--in fun, inspiration, music, writings, resources--to touch a needy world. My files are filled with moving testimonies of people He's met at the Well. It's awesome to be a vessel He uses to bring HIS living water to a thirsty soul.

....and there's plenty of blessing for you too. It may be "burden week" not "blessing week" for you--but know He is with you in the bad times as well as the good times of life. He blesses us when we don't even KNOW we are being blessed. In invisible ways He touches our lives and protects us from danger; He guides us by opening and closing doors; the very burdens we carry become blessings as He shows us new dimensions of His love. We are blessed by a God who's GOOD all the time...now that's something to celebrate!

Blunders--Celebrating God's Grace at Peggie's Place and yours...!

Peggie's Place has had its share of blunders--and so has Peggie! Some blunders have found their way into the devotionals (Breakdown Blues and When God Turns the Tables)--I've learned some valuable lessons and so have you! Some blunders are better left untold and under the Blood of Jesus, for I am a "saint" with a small "s"--only because of HIS grace!

...and you've had your share too! You fall and fail just as I do--but it's those blunders and failures that God takes and turns into blessings you can't believe! He does not waste our problems and pains, for when we surrender them to Him, He uses them to carry us to a new level of intimacy and relationship with Him. Don't let the blunders of life blow you away--stand firm in the knowledge of His constant love and grace...for we are blessed by a God of GRACE who's there for all time...now that's something to celebrate!

Balloons--Celebrating God's Love at Peggie's Place and yours...!

BRING ON THE BALLOONS! We celebrate God's love, His goodness and His grace here at Peggie's Place and wherever you live on Planet Earth. It has been a joy to serve you with the refreshing water from The Well; that water refreshes my own soul--it comes from the Father above and is poured freely and lavishly into all of our lives. We are blessed--and blundered, yes--but beloved by the Father who knows us, understands us, and has plans for our lives we've not yet imagined. To God be the glory for all He has done at Peggie's Place...

...and at YOURS too....He loves you, knows your circumstances, see your highs and lows, feels your pain, and is THERE to meet your need. He's done it right along--and He doesn't have any plans to stop now. His cup of joy is overflowing to the person who wholeheartedly receives what HE places in that cup of love. Joy, sorrow, happiness, pain, tears and smiles--all given by the Father and therefore GOOD for us all!

So let the party begin--a party for all prodigal sons and daughters of the Father He's found here, there and everywhere, including the Worldwide Web!! For just as the prodigal son made his way back home into the arms of the Father, so have we all--and He celebrates with us this day the wonders of His grace and love. May many more prodigals find their way to Father's home-and should they wind up on the doorstep of Peggie's Place on the WWW, may HIS love, joy and peace welcome them to join the celebration.
