"There's a Rotten Egg in the Room!"

Now that I've taken your appetite away, let me tell you why! You see, last night I precariously entered my teenage son's room, if you can call it a room, merely looking for my nail clippers. A sniff or two, once in the room, told me that "something" of an undesirable nature was IN that room--spoiled food, smelly sneakers, small wiggly dead creature, or some other "whatever"! And whatever it was, it smelled--bad!

Reporting the crisis to my son did not seem to faze him--much--except I did get an admission that "yes, there is a bad smell in my room!" Case dismissed......not quite..."You start cleaning that room, young man!" - and apparently he did, late last night, for he reported gleefully to me this morning that he had found the culprit--an old scientific egg assignment from the last school year, stuffed into some bookshelves....rotting away to its heart's content!

No more--it's been removed, with strict orders to further DEEP-clean and dig out whatever else may be hiding in that "dare-I-call-it-a room" tomb! Lazarus had better awaken FAST--in fear and trembling--and CLEAN THAT ROOM!

"There's a Rotten Egg in the Garden!"

Come back in time with me to the Garden of Eden, inhabited by the first man and woman--and one other, a scheming, sinister serpent--or let's face it, a ROTTEN EGG--from the beginning of time.

Satan, the deceiver, was at work in the very beginning--in the garden. He played his part well--as the liar, the thief, and the destroyer. He lied to Eve, he stole their virtue, he destroyed their future--so he thought. But rotten egg that he was, and he still is, he hadn't counted on a counter-move by the Creator.

And the move? A salvation plan was put in place that day--for you and for me, descendants of the Garden Duo-! Now, because of Jesus Christ, "rotten" need not "reign" in our lives or our homes. When we invite the Master Housecleaner in, the rotten egg, with all his accompanying lies, thievery and destruction, must leave. He may be back--he WILL be back, be assured--but don't give him houseroom...he was a rotten egg in the beginning--he's a rotten egg still--and he needs to go!

"There's a Rotten Egg in our World!"

The deceiver, the "rotten egg," runs our world right now...Read the headlines, listen to the TV News, and know he is alive and well, and his actions, quite frankly, "stink" in the nostrils of God. How long God will put up with him, we do not know - but a day will come when God cleans house, takes out the trash, and the rotten egg from the beginning of time will rot in an eternal place of damnation, prepared for him and his cohorts.

Until then, be alert, be on guard--"sniff" him out, then shove him out the front door! He's known worldwide, still, as the liar, the thief and the destroyer. He tells you that God does not love you, will not forgive you, has forgotten you. Lies! He steals from you the joy of the Lord, the peace of the Holy Spirit, the hope of heaven. Thief! And he will destroy you--spirit, body and soul--if you let him! He's the destroyer still! And he'd like to make SCRAMBLED EGGS out of your life--don't let him!!

What to do? Room deodorizer won't do it--he needs to be removed from the premises by divine intervention. Say God's Word and watch him flinch. Sing God's praise and watch him fight. Speak God's Name and see him flee. Good--it's time that we stand up to the liar, the thief, the destroyer of our souls and our world. We are victors through Christ who has conquered Satan--he is a defeated foe. Now go tell him, the rotten egg personified, to gather up all his rotten eggs and run!

...and YOU have a great day! Jesus is Lord!!
