"Thou shalt not bear false witness!" - "Thou shalt not lie!" - two of the Ten Commandments God gave Moses - and two of the MANY "commandments" our Moms gave US in plain English--"Don't LIE--and Don't STEAL!" We learned them well and hopefully, as Christian grown-ups, we heed them well!

No one likes a liar or a thief--we would not think of entertaining either in our homes...or WOULD WE? DO WE? Come with me to the clutter closet (every home has one, you know!) and carefully open the door....STUFF is about to spill out, so be careful!

Enter with caution that clutter closet of your mind...it's where the biggest liar and thief stores all his wares and wiles...He will whisper, "You can't do this" or "Don't believe that!" He will distort the truth and destroy your joy - and before you know it, the liar and the thief of all time - the enemy of your soul - has taken over your thought life and brought you down to discouragement and defeat! So what to do?

Recognize him for the liar and thief that he is. Resist him in the Name of the Lord! Then let the Lord restore to you the joy of your salvation and the truth of His Word - your rightful possessions. You can claim Christ's protection and Blood over your mind - and Satan must flee!

Now go get on your working clothes, go clean out that closet clutter, air it out with the SONshine of God's TRUTH and JOY! The liar and the thief will flee in the Name of the Lord--and you will have a great day!
