Down the Path to the Well--a thought to remember along the way
My good friend Vickie and I are "on the road to Branson" for some fun "get-away" time this week--and while she is visiting, I thought ya'll would enjoy your own special "tour" of Branson, along with related devotionals, to keep you busy while we shop, eat, and tear up the town! Please return each day for a new devotional and a new Branson sightseeing spot...and the best part of it all? YOU won't have to fight the traffic!
That wasn't a problem ten years ago--there WAS no traffic in Branson, a quiet, little "one-horse" town about 40 miles from Springfield, MO, my hometown. And then it exploded--music shows came in, theaters, hotels, restaurants, malls were built--and cars jammed the little two-lane roads. Part of the adventure of visiting Branson (now the family entertainment capital of the USA!) is STILL the traffic--but it's getting better!
Whatever road you're traveling right now, know that He travels it with you. The hills and the valleys? He's been there! The "under construction" signs that take you on a detour? He's been there too. He travels life's high-roads and low-roads with His kids...and there's no traffic jam He can't fix. Remember that as you travel YOUR road this week...and do take some time to come along with us for a few days of fun in Branson--right here on the Web...why not!!
