Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

No, no - not the "illegal alien" we read about, hear about, fuss about - and certainly not the "alien" some kids seem to be when they became teenagers - nor the "alien" they may think you to be as a concerned, old-fashioned, God-fearing, rule-making mom or dad.....so what in the WORLD am I talking about?And THAT'S the clue.....are we IN the world but not OF the world? Do we live like travelers just passing through - or perhaps tourists who take time to take in the sites and then decide to "settle down" for life-long residence!
It's so easy and we're all guilty of being so earth-bound that we forget we are heaven-bound! Hey, we are ALIENS here - aliens to an ungodly culture with its vice, crude entertainment, coarse words and careless ways. Let's place our treasures in another land - we are bound for the Promised Land! Keep your travel bags packed at all times - He, the Lord of that "other land" is coming soon!
Now BE an alien wherever you go - not weird, for HEAVEN'S SAKE - but behave like the citizen of heaven you really are! Believe it, live like it, and you will have a wonderful, God-first, God-honoring, choco-rich day!
