Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

She's gone wacky, for sure--birds don't WALK, they fly! Well, true--and it WOULD have been a funny sight if a whole entourage of birds had joined me walking the neighborhood one morning...I mean walking behind me, before me, beside me--what a sight for sore eyes--would have made someone's day, believe me!Let me explain--I was into this "lose weight, look good, lighten up" mode, and knew my body, my doctor, and myself would be happy with me if I walked--not my favorite thing to do--and certainly not early in the morning. BUT I did--and would you believe, when you walk in the MORNING, you can hear the BIRDS sing...fly-by singing or fancy sitting-in-a-tree singing--whatever, they SING!
Bird were MADE to sing...they were made to fly too! And so were we! We drag ourselves along in our dreary, down-in-the-dumps walkways of life, moaning and groaning at what we SHOULD have, how it SHOULD be, what we DON'T have and how it DOESN'T work...and we lose our song! Heaven forbid...quiet your troubled soul and weary spirit long enough and listen...the birds are SINGING...the birds are FLYING...and so can we!
You see, birds don't worry about finances, fashion, family or "am-I-having-fun" yet! They don't feel guilty about their past, face inadequate about their present, or fret about their future. They solely trust their Creator; they sing His praises; they soar in His wind--and HE takes full care of their needs! That same God will take care of us too--now, believe it!!
Soar with the wings of an eagle today...enjoy your walk with the birds in the morning...but sing and soar with Him all day--and you will have a joyful, God-filled, choco-rich, wonderful day!
