Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

"The Father's Footstool!"
Daily Manna's Bible reading: Hebrews 10:11-14 (NIV)
Footstools? I prefer a Lazy-Boy with its own built-in "footstool" - and of course, my bag of JellyBellies along side of me, as FOX News "relieves" my daily stress each night (can you imagine anyone's stress being relieved by the nightly news!!).My Father has a footstool too - and it's nothing like my LazyBoy or the latest footstool fashions in contemporary furniture stores. So what is it?
Let's turn to God's Word. Christ says, "I and the Father are One," and at HIS feet, prophetic to Scripture (see above link), His enemies will be made hHs footstool.....I would not want to be part of His footstool in that Day...
And by God's grace, we, believers in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, are NOT! We are in His HEART - and that's a LONG way from the footstool of evil men. He is aware of the evil in our world (AND the "nightly news"!); it does not escape His eye. He knows both the subtle and overt temptations of the enemy to gain your soul and mine....and He remains our High Priest to intercede for us before the Father, to keep us faithful in the hollow of His hand. The Father's footstool is NOT for the faithful, thank God. Someday soon God will take care of the devil and his cohorts who torment, tease, and try the saints of God in this wicked world. Fear not the footstool of the fallen one and his followers....I want to stay close to the Father's heart, sitting at the Master's feet - far from the footstool of evil men - how about you!
