Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

"I AM! - That's GOD not ME!!"
Daily Manna's Bible reading: John 11:25,26 (NIV) . . . John 15:1-4 (NIV)
Who, ME? Self-identity, self-concept, self-help, self-worth--it's a whole lot of ME, ME, ME--and while a whole lot of ME, ME, ME engages my ego, it doesn't engage my soul. What I do and why I do it, is, of course, based on a self-concept of who I am and why I'm here--but when all is said and done, my true identity and self-worth is found, not in knowing who I am, but in knowing who I am IN HIM. Whew! That was one long-winded "deep thought"--but that's not all! For my ULTIMATE security and satisfaction is found not in knowing who *I* am, but who HE is...and who IS He?"I AM Jehovah Jireh (Genesis 22:14), Jehovah Nissi (Exodus 17:15), Jehovah Shalom (Jud. 6:24), Jehova Shammah (Ezek. 48:35), Jehovah Tsidenkenu (Jer. 23:6). I AM! And I became flesh--I was given a Name above every name--the Name of JESUS." Listen closely and you will hear HIM say, "I AM the resurection; I AM the vine; I AM the way, the truth and the life; I AM the door; I AM the Bread of Life; I AM Your Provider, Your Shepherd, Your Counselor, Your Redeemer; I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end; I AM love, life, truth, joy, hope, peace. I AM!"
For just a minute, forget who YOU are...concentrate on who HE is...the eternal Triune God, the I AM for yesterday, today and forever--and for whatever you need right now. Call on His Name and you'll find Him there, ready, able, and willing to meet you where you are..."Just as I am, without one plea...O Lamb of God, I come, I come!"
Whether you are a sinner or a saint, He, the Great "I AM," calls you to Accept, Believe, Come--it's as easy as ABC, as profound as God Himself--trust the true "I AM" of your life--and you will have a GOD-filled day!
"I AM the Lord; that is my name...." - Isaiah 42:8 "Lord, Your Name is all-powerful--and all I need this day. May my soul rest from its turmoil and strife knowing that the "I AM" to whom I belong is still on the throne, still in control, and still over all, In Jesus' Name. Amen."
